MotoFanPages: The Fans-Only Content

You probably know that the Facebook pages can show different content to fans and non-fans. When the “Like” button is clicked, the non-fan content is replaced by the fans-only content. From now, you can use this functionality on your MotoFanPages websites and motivate your visitors to become the page’s fans.

In order to activate the fans-only content, you should open Website Preferences, select Facebook and check the box as it is shown on the picture.

You have two ways to show the non-fans content: using an image or the HTML code. If you select “Static image”, you can choose a picture from the Media Library which will appear instead of your website when a non-fan visits your page. This image should display some content that will motivate a visitor to “Like” your page.

Another option is to insert custom HTML code. You can use custom styles and any HTML tags to edit font styles, set the background, insert tables, add images, etc. There is no need to enter the required tags like <html>, <head> and <body> as they are already included. The content is centered by default if no other align is set. You can also take advantage of JavaScript thanks to jQuery.

Here is an example of the Custom HTML non-fans page:

Once the Like button is pressed, the non-fans content will disappear and a user will be able to view the website.

We sincerely hope that using the Fans-only content in the MotoFanPages websites will help you bring more fans to your Facebook pages!
